“We Build Great Teams” has been the motto of a home-grown outsourcing company in Davao City. Next BPO Solutions has been serving domestic and foreign clients for 11 years since it was founded in July 2009. The company started as a partnership with a Canadian firm that wanted to build a team in the Philippines; initially starting with seven employees. During early 2011, the funding partner decided to discontinue business making the company decide whether to continue operations. However, they decided to face the challenges and continue with a fresh start. From renting a small office they are now occupying 4 of the 5-office floors in the ACC Building in Quimpo Blvd. In Ecoland, Matina, Davao City.

The company has celebrated many milestones over the years. Just after Xavier Eric B. Manalastas, President and CEo took control of the company, it landed its first whole-sourced client. The next year it expanded by landing an eBay partner form Australia. They then acquired new accounts from New Zealand, Australia, Netherlands, UK, Ireland, and the USA. In 2016, they signed their first major international account that is still their client today. And in 2018, they signed their first major domestic account.

The company has had its share of its ups and downs through the years and they share the same plight of other businesses as the coronavirus struck early this year. But, just like any other business, they decided to ride the storm and work closely with clients and employees. To do this, they had to strictly implement minimum health standards and shift most of their employees to work from home arrangements. They also deployed a remote employee productivity monitoring tool to keep track of employee performance. they have provided in-house accommodation to selected employees that provide critical service and continue to provide shuttle services for those who are now working in the office.

Next BPO employees also received a commendation from international partners for their unhampered services throughout the surge of the pandemic. They are dubbed as the secret front-liners that continued to provide essential service locally and internationally. The company also passed the policies of the local government and continued operations during the pandemic.  The company is now focused on surviving the current crisis. Plans will be focused on recovery and eventually expansion as new opportunities emerge.

Indeed, great teams are made only with great and dedicated people. For 11 years, the company has provided services and jobs to countless of people here and abroad. And, they will continue to ride the storm and rise above circumstances. Together with their talented and dedicated pool of staff and their will to provide excellence in service, they will continue to help build small business dreams into reality.
